Meet Vero
Vero grew up moving between Lagos, Accra, Monrovia and Freetown — each aunt's stove leaving a mark on her palate. Today she cooks the dishes she grew up on, using palm oil pressed the old way, scotch bonnets chopped by hand, and rice that always gets that perfect smoky crust on the bottom of the pot.
